I'm waiting for my photos to upload to Picasa. It seems to be taking longer than it would have done on Flickr, but oh well.
Last night (okay so it was VERY early this morning, really), Inkysticks (aka: penster) and I were scamming on bamboo crochet hooks on eBay. ZOMG! I. Must. Have. Some. I swear I detest the metal hooks in winter, and I LOATHE the cream colored plastic hooks. For some reason the yarn doesn't slide along nicely with the plastic hooks. Therefore, I am making it a mission to own a set of bamboo hooks. I think I will love them muchly! Thanks Inkysticks, for helping me go shopping whilst I am broke! LOL
So, speaking of bamboo hooks, I know that many of my fellow SPEWers from Immeritus use bamboo knitting needles. Anyone out there use bamboo crochet hooks? I'd really appreciate some 4-1-1 about them!

Yup, on the bamboo knitting needles but no on the hooks. I only have a few hooks and they are the Boye's metal ones.

I have a couple of bamboo hooks (they are great for picking up dropped stitches in knitting) and love them.
